Your support helps the Ontario Public Library continue to provide free access to books, movies, technology, literacy programs, recreation and life-long learning opportunities for everyone in our community.

Ways to donate

We accept online donations through the library’s secure PayPal account.

We accept donations by mail. Please send to Ontario Public Library, PO Box 69, Ontario, WI 56451.

Donate your books & movies

We accept donations of used books, audiobooks, music CDs, and DVD/Blu-rays on a year round basis.

We do not accept the following:

VHS tapes
Encyclopedias
Reader’s Digest Condensed books
Textbooks
Books that have been stored in a basement or attic that may be very dirty or have a musty odor, or books that are very old or damaged in any way, including missing, torn or yellowed pages, dusty covers, or broken spines — items that are not in “good” condition.

Donated items are only accepted during regular operating hours. Any item that library staff cannot accept will be returned to the donor.
